Have you ever seen anyone so upset about a lollipop before? Maybe she’s been raised by hipster foodies on Brussels sprouts and anchovies, and doesn’t quite know what to make of sugar? Me? I’m sad because my fundraising is slow.
The lollipop was, from memory, a freebie from work. Probably some kind of promo sent to us, for something — I have no idea what, anymore. It’s been in my cupboard for a while because I can’t quite bring myself to eat that much unadulterated sugar in one hit. And I say that as an unadulterated sugar fiend. Maybe I’m growing up?
The frock is my all-time favourite. It’s from a Brisbane-based label called Maiocchi, as I noted last year. They seem to be quite expensive. This was on sale when I bought it; from memory, it had hung around for a bit because no one else wanted the size 6. Going by the current prices on their website, there’s no way I could afford it otherwise.
Surely you, like Ronald (thank you), can afford a few dollars — tax deductible dollars! — to sponsor me, and ultimately help scientists working to find an early detection test for ovarian cancer? www.everydayhero.com.au/mellygoround.
